Rhythm Boulevard raise £328 for Young Minds at MITC Southampton

Rhythm Boulevard played at the unique Bargate venue at Music in The City Southampton on Saturday 2nd October on a day with the worst weather in the last 500 years (well it felt like that!).

We played a set of mainly funk and soul classics to a surprising number in the audience given the monsoon conditions outside on top of which we were in the midst of a fuel crisis which meant that Tania wasn’t able to make the gig at all.

A very generous audience on the day and through Just Giving, helped us raise a humbling £328 – so big thanks to all who did make the journey to see us or to contribute online.

Here’s quick snatch of the set with Andie giving it large!

Young Minds is an amazing charity that supports young people struggling with mental health issues and Rhythm Boulevard are supporting this as part of The Marketing Centre’s drive to raise £10k for the charity between now and the end of the year to mark their 10th anniversary.
